What is PrestaShop?
PrestaShop is a freemium, open-source e-commerce platform that lets merchants build and manage their own online stores. It began in 2005 as a student project at EPITECH in Paris and was incorporated as PrestaShop SA in 2007, with headquarters in Paris, France. The platform is used by hundreds of thousands of shops worldwide, is available in around 60 languages, and offers both a free self-hosted version and managed hosted plans. In 2021 it became part of MBE Worldwide.

The integration automatically syncs the store's product catalog to make items discoverable on TikTok, and installs the TikTok Pixel with browser and server-side (Events API) tracking to measure the full customer journey through checkout. Merchants can then create and manage Lead Generation and Conversion campaigns directly from the platform, with no changes to website code required.
